About Us

Kongunadu Incubation Center and Startup Association (KiC-START) is a Section 8 not-for-profit rural-focused incubation center dedicated to transforming grassroots innovations into sustainable enterprises that drive socio-economic development in rural and semi-urban regions. Over the next 5 to 10 years, KiC-START aims to incubate 250+ rural startups, support 1,000+ student and community innovators, and enable the creation of 3,000 to 5,000 direct and indirect jobs across agri-innovation, green technologies, healthcare solutions, and food processing sectors. Through structured incubation, technology development, funding facilitation, and market linkages, the center targets the generation of β‚Ή250–₹500 crore in cumulative startup revenue by empowering entrepreneurs to convert local resources into high-value, sustainable products and services. By fostering strong collaborations with academia, industry, government bodies, financial institutions, and investors, KiC-START is building an inclusive rural innovation ecosystem that promotes livelihood creation, waste-to-wealth solutions, environmental sustainability, and long-term rural prosperity.
