Innovation Voucher Programme (IVP)
The Innovation Voucher Programme (IVP) is a flagship grant-in-aid scheme by the Government of Tamil Nadu (EDII-TN). It is designed to boost innovation among MSMEs and Startups by bridging the gap between industry and academia.

Grant Categories
The scheme offers two types of vouchers depending on the stage of your innovation:

Who Can Apply?
- Manufacturing MSMEs registered in Tamil Nadu.
- Startups registered with DPIIT / StartupTN.
- Students/Faculty with an innovative idea (must partner with KiC).
Application Process
Applying for IVP through KiC-Start involves the following steps:
- Step 1: Submit a preliminary proposal to KiC-Start (Knowledge Partner).
- Step 2: Technical screening and evaluation by KiC experts.
- Step 3: Presentation and analyze the idea
- Step 4: Final submission to EDII-TN portal.
- Step 5: Release of funds upon approval.
